Enraged by the university closure notice, the students of Dhaka University (DU) under the banner of “General Students of Dhaka University” have issued a “counter-notice” to keep the university’s registrar building, controller building, all faculties, institutes closed for an indefinite period.

A notice, signed by  “General Students of Dhaka University,” was issued just a few hours after the DU authority announced the university closed for an indefinite period amid the ongoing quota reform protest.

The notice also asked the VC, teachers, officers and staffers to vacate the bungalow and quarters by 6pm on Wednesday.

Moreover, the university’s teachers, officers and staffers have been declared ‘unwanted’ forever for their inactive role during the anarchy on the campus.
