Gold prices hit all-time high in the local market following the rise of this precious metal in the international market. Now best quality 22-carat (11.664 grams) gold rose by Tk 1,750 to all-time peak Tk 1,15, 824.

Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) said that this price will be effective from tomorrow Sunday.

The new price of 22-carat gold is now Tk 9,930 per gram while it is Tk 9,480 for 21-carat gold, the released added.

The price of 18-carat gold has been fixed at Tk 8,125 a gram, while that of traditional gold is Tk 6,770 per gram.
