The government will refund Tk 4.87 crore in unspent funds to 4,341 pilgrims who performed Hajj under government management this year.

Religious Affairs Minister Shah Mofazzal Hossain (Kaikoabad) announced the decision during a press conference at the Secretariat on Sunday (September 6).

The briefing was organized to provide details on returning unutilized funds allocated for the Saudi Arabia leg of the pilgrimage for government-managed Hajj attendees. State Minister for Religious Affairs Mohammad Shamim Kaysar was also present at the event.
