At least four workers were killed in an explosion while working on a gas line in Bahubal upazila of Habiganj. Two others were injured in the incident.

The casualties have been confirmed by Zahidul Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bahubal Police Station.

It has been reported that all the deceased were from Chandpur district, but their detailed identities have not yet been confirmed.

The incident occurred around 9:00 am on Tuesday in the Dubaoi area of Putijuri Union, Bahubal Upazila, at a construction site of an industrial project under Akij Venture Limited.
