The interim government, headed by Nobel laureate Dr Muhammad Yunus, will be sworn-in tonight (Thursday night).
President Mohammed Shahabuddin will administer the oath of office to the new government at Bangabhaban.
According to the official sources, economist and former governor of Bangladesh Bank Dr Saleh Uddin Ahmed, former Election Commissioner Brigadier General (Retd) M Sakhawat Hossain, Dhaka University’s Law Department’s professor Dr Asif Nazrul, human rights activist Adilur Rahman Khan, former Caretaker Goverment’s adviser Hasan Ariff, former Foreign Secretary Touhid Hossain, environment lawyer Syeda Rizwana Hasan, Anti-Discrimination Student Movement coordinator Md Nahid Islam and coordinator Asif Mahmud Sajib have been sworn-in as advisers.
Besides, former ambassador and Chittagong Development Board’s chairman Supradip Chakma, development activist Farida Akhter, Bidhan Ranjan Roy, AFM Khalid Hasan, Noorjahan Begum, Sharmin Murshid and Faruqui Aman have been sworn-in as advisers.

Vehicles have departed from the secretariat in the evening to take the chief advisor and other advisors of the new interim government from their respective residences.
The interim government advisers will later go to the Bangabhaban to take oath at 8:30 pm.
