The national football team’s conditioning camp for the upcoming AFC Asian Cup 2027 qualifiers third (final) round will start on 28 February.
The camp will be held in two phases. The first phase of the camp will be held from 28 February to 4 March in Dhaka while the second phase will be held from 5 March to 17 March in Saudi Arabia.
The team will return to Dhaka and fly to India on 20 March.
Hamza Choudhury, the Bangladeshi-origin English footballer who is currently playing for Sheffield United, is expected to arrive in Dhaka on 19 March to join the men in red and green before their departure.
“We are expecting Hamza to join the national team before leaving for India. Hopefully, he will arrive on 19 March,” BFF executive member and Media Committee Chairman Md Amirul Islam Babu told the reporters on Monday.
Hamza is expecting his debut for the men in red and green against India in their first match of the upcoming AFC Asian Cup 2027 qualifiers third (final) round, scheduled to be held in Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Shillong on 25 March.
