Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam on Wednesday said there has been no discussion regarding any changes or reshuffle in the interim government’s advisory council.
He made the remark while addressing a press conference at the Foreign Service Academy in Dhaka, following a meeting of the advisory council.
Responding to a journalist’s query about circulating rumours of a possible reshuffle — particularly speculation over changes to the posts of the home adviser and the chief adviser’s special assistant — Shafiqul firmly dismissed the claims.
Reports had suggested that Khalilur Rahman might be appointed as the new home adviser.
“I am not aware of this, and no discussion has taken place on the matter,” Shafiqul said.
