BNP’s Sirajganj district unit President and former Parliament Member Rumana Mahmud said, “No killer will get relief. All of them will be caught in time. Time will say what to do?”

She came up with the remarks, while addressing a view exchange meeting with the family members of slain Abdul Bari Sheikh of Bahuli village in Sirajganj Sadar upazila on Sunday morning.

Targeting to local BNP leaders, she said, you should take care of the victim’s family according to your capacity. All should be united to work together in which we can snatch the victory in the upcoming polls.

The programme was presided over by Tofazzal Hossain Bhuiyan Rokon, while district BNP Joint General Secretary Nur Kayum Sabuz, Sadar thana BNP General Secretary Advocate Nazmul Islam, Bahuli union BNP General Secretary Haidar Ali and Jubo Dal Joint Convener Jakir Hossain among others were also present in the event.

It is to be mentioned that, a group of miscreants hacked BNP activist Abdul Bari Sheikh, 55, to death centering political conflict.

The victim’s family members complained that, the identified accused are roaming here and there of the area openly after the murder due to inactiveness of the concerned thana police.

They urged immediate arrest to the killers.
