The interim government’s legal advisor Professor Asif Nazrul denied rumors circulating on social media that “President Md. Sahabuddin has resigned’.

Professor Asif Nazrul said this in a post on his verified Facebook page on Thursday morning.

In a Facebook post, he wrote, ‘Some propaganda is being done using my name. The news that the President has resigned is being spread using my picture – it is fake.’

The interim government has decided to hold trials of the killings that took place during the students’ protest through the International Crimes Tribunal, said law adviser Asif Nazrul Yesterday.
