Rajshahi Warriors posted a modest total of 132 for eight in their allotted 20 overs against Dhaka Capitals in the third match of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) on Saturday at the Sylhet International Stadium. After winning the toss, Dhaka Capitals captain Mohammad Mithun elected to bowl first.
Rajshahi suffered an early blow as opener Sahibzada Farhan was dismissed off the first ball. Tanzid Hasan scored 20 off 15 balls, while last-match centurion Najmul Hossain Shanto added a valuable 37 from 28 deliveries. Mushfiqur Rahim attempted to steady the innings but was dismissed for 24.
For Dhaka, Imad Wasim starred with the ball, claiming three wickets with an economical spell. Nasir Hossain picked up two wickets, while Salman Mirza, Ziaur Rahman, and Saifuddin took one each. Dhaka Capitals now require 133 runs to win.
