Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal insisted that he will retired from the national team, totally.
Tamim was heard saying ‘from the national team’ when he was asked by Pakistani legendary cricketer Shahid Afridi whether he retired from the national team or not from all formats during a Youtube video uploaded from his channel.
“Tamim aap bilkul retire, khatam? (Tamim, you retired fully, its all over?),” Afridi asked Tamim in a video posted on his YouTube Channel.
“National team se (From the national team),” Tamim answered.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Faruque Ahmed recently said that Shakib Al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal are available for the Champions Trophy.
Tamim, who earlier retired from T20 cricket, is yet to make retirement announcement from Test and ODIs.
