Sylhet Strikers have set a 138-run target for Chattogram Challengers on the 13th game of BPL 2024 at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, Sylhet today.

Sylhet Strikers captain Mashrafe Mortaza won the toss and opted to bat against Shuvagata Hom’s Chattogram Challengers in the 13th match of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) today.

Najmul Hossain Shanto and Mohammad Mithun opened the innings for Sylhet Strikers but the duo got out in quick succession scoring 5 and 1 respectively. Sylhet reduced to 8/2 in 2 overs. Zakir Hasan and Harry Tector tried to rebuilt the innings for Sylhet. The duo added 57 runs for the third wicket stand before Zakir got dismissed for 31 off 26. Tector and Ryan Burl shared 42 runs for the fourth wicket stand before the former got out for 42-ball 45, his innings adorned with 2 fours and a six. Sylhet lost their 4th wicket to 107-4 on 16.2 overs.

Ryan Burl and Ariful Haque’s unbroken 30-run stand takes Sylhet to 137/4 in 20 overs. Ryan Burl scored 34* off 29 and Ariful Haque 17* off 12 balls.

For Chattogram Challengers, Bilal Khan picked up 3/24, and Nihaduzzaman 1/27.
