Pabna correspondent:

Two people were stabbed to death by some miscreants in the district town here Wednesday.

The deceased were Milon Hossain Modhu, 45, hailed from Pabna town and Monzu Pramanik, 44, a resident of Purbo Raghobpur area of the town.

The incident took place around 7:30 am in front of Halim Hotel at Masum Bazar in central bus terminal area of the town.

According to the relatives of the deceased, they went to a local restaurant for taking breakfast in the morning. At that time, some miscreants stabbed them in front of the restaurant. Local people rescued the duo with serious injuries and taken to Pabna General Hospital where doctors declared them dead.

Officer-in-Charge of Pabna Sadar Police Station Rowshon Ali confirmed the matter and said the bodies were kept at Pabna General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
