The Bangladesh Police has transferred three additional superintendents and two assistant superintendents to different workstations across the country, said a notification issued on Saturday.

The freshly transferred officers have been asked to join their new offices by 22 September, the notification read.

As per the notification, Addl Police Superintendents Iftekhar Hasan Amin has been transferred from Cumilla to Special Branch in Dhaka, Md Naim Abdullah from Pabna’s Bera circle to Tourist Police, and Pias Basak from Brahmanbaria’s Nabinagar to Industrial Police unit.

Furthermore, Assistant Police Superintendents Shyamoli Rani Barman to Industrial Police from Sapahar in Naogaon and Md Rakibur Rahman to Madhabpur Circle in Habiganj from Khulna Range DIG’s office.

If the transferred officers fail to join their new workstations by 22 September, they will be considered released from current stations by default, the notification added.
