The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) on Thursday strongly condemned the brutal killing of Advocate Saiful Islam Alif in Chattogram. The organization demanded the arrest of those involved in the murder and exemplary punishment.

The ISKCON leaders said these in a press conference to protest against the brutal murder of Advocate Saiful Islam Arif and the spread of misleading information about the current situation in Bangladesh at the ISKCON temple in the capital’s Shamibag on Thursday (November 28).

ISKCON Bangladesh President Satya Ranjan Baroi presided over the press conference. Besides, the general secretary of the organization Charu Chandra Das Brahmachari, central leader Jyotishwar Gaur Das, Suryaprati Narayan Das, and other leaders were present.

“Chinmoy Das Brahmachari has been permanently expelled from ISKCON due to moral and character lapses. ISKCON has nothing to do with him,” said ISKCON leaders at the press conference.

“Bangladesh Sammilita Sanatani Jagoran Mancha is not an organization of ISKCON,” they also mentioned.
