Ambassador of Bangladesh to Japan Md. Daud Ali attended ‘2nd Bangladesh IT Engineer Summit’ organized by Japan Bangladesh IT Association (JBITA) on Monday in Tokyo. The program was supported by the Bangladesh Embassy in Tokyo and JETRO Dhaka.
Daud Ali in his speech mentioned in detail the development of the IT sector in Bangladesh. The ambassador said that Bangladesh holds a promise and strength in IT that can be explored by Japan as a large pool of young IT professionals are joining the tech industry every year. He urged all concerned to work together for more collaboration in IT Sector and bring more skilled human resources from Bangladesh.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kaicom Solutions and President of JBITA Anjan Das delivered the welcome address.
Chief representative of JETRO Bangladesh Yuji Ando delivered a presentation on Bangladesh’s economic situation and attractions.
Later a panel featuring Associate Professor of Rikkyo University Nanori Kusakabe and CEO of atB Ltd Kazuki Iwai was held. Panel discussion was moderated by Shumpei Nakasone, CEO of Sun Co. Ltd. and Vice President of JBITA COO of KK Destiny Rejwanur Kabir gave closing remarks.
