Sirajganj Correspondent: A district court in Sirajganj has sentenced life term imprisonment to five people for killing a kid named Imon, 6 in Sirajganj.

Judge of Sirajganj Additional District and Sessions Judges court-1 Md Erfan Ullah passed the order yesterday.

The court also fined the accused Tk20,000, in default, to suffer one year more imprisonment.

Additional district and session judge-1 court APP Waj Karni Loket confirmed the matter.

The accused are – Osman, 25, son of Golam Hossain, Sohel, 25, son of Korban Ali, Kawsar, 24, son of Abdus Sobhan, Al Amin, 35, son of Moydan Ali, and Hiron, 30.

According to the case statement, there was a land dispute between Chan Mia and Alhaj Ali in Char Makimpur village. Following the dispute, Chan Mia’s son Imon went missing on February 15, 2011. Later, the dead body of the kid was recovered from an abandoned toilet on February 22.
