BNP Standing Committee Member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury has called for those responsible for past stock market manipulation to be identified and brought to justice.

“Millions of investors have been harmed due to share market manipulation. Many have committed suicide. Keeping them in mind, these looters should be identified and brought to justice by bringing them under the law,” he said while speaking as the chief guest at a meeting organised by the Dhaka Stock Exchange Brokers Association in the capital on Wednesday (February 26 ).

He further said, “If this is not done, discipline will never return to the market. The looters will continue to manipulate as always.”
