Actress Arifa Parvin Zaman Moushumi is set to showcase her singing talent at the upcoming “Bangladesh Day Parade and Festival” in Los Angeles, organised by the Bangladesh Unity Federation of Los Angeles (BUFOLA) to mark the 55th year of Bangladesh’s independence.

Although Moushumi has been away from the screen for some time, she continues to engage in cultural programmes during her stay in the United States. Known not only for her acting but also for her melodious voice, she frequently participates in such events whenever the opportunity arises.

She will be joined on stage by singers Selim Chowdhury and Dinat Jahan Munni. The event will be emceed by Anisur Rahman Milon and Nova Firoze.

In addition to her musical performance, Moushumi will also take part in a dance presentation on April 27.

Expressing her thoughts on the occasion, Moushumi shared, “I’m deeply thankful to BUFOLA for involving me in this vibrant and meaningful celebration. Even from abroad, having the chance to honour my country and its people is truly heartwarming.”

BUFOLA, formed by 29 different organisations, has been hosting this annual celebration of Bangladesh’s independence since 2006.

This year’s “Bangladesh Day Parade and Festival” will take place on April 26 and 27 in Los Angeles, where hundreds of Bangladeshis are expected to join in a colourful three-hour-long parade.

Notably, this won’t be Moushumi’s first international appearance—she has previously performed on stages across the US.
