Jaya Ahsan is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film, “Jaya Aar Sharmin”. Directed by Piplu R Khan, the much-anticipated project is finally ready to hit theatres. The actress herself confirmed the news.

During a phone conversation, she shared, “We filmed this five years ago, and after such a long wait, it’s finally being released.”

Discussing the storyline, Jaya explained, “The film revolves around two characters—Jaya and Sharmin. It tells the story of two women and explores relationships through a unique narrative.”

She added, “It’s about two women navigating unfamiliar worlds. I believe the film will strike a chord with everyone.”

The actress also mentioned that the movie captures a specific time period, saying, “At one point, both characters reflect on their past. During the Covid lockdown, they become trapped in a house and gradually build a small world of their own.”

Alongside Jaya, the film also stars Mohsina Akhter, Tanjim Saiara Totini, and others.

Meanwhile, Jaya Ahsan’s recently released web-series “Jimmi,” directed by Ashfaque Nipun, has also been much appreciated by the audiences.
