The Bollywood Big Shot UK Tour, featuring major stars like Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit, and Tiger Shroff, has been postponed in light of the recent India-Pakistan tensions. Organisers have assured that new dates will be announced soon, and refunds will be provided in the meantime.
The Bollywood Big Shot UK Tour, featuring Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Varun Dhawan, Tiger Shroff, Disha Patani, Kriti Sanon, Sara Ali Khan, Sunil Grover, and Maniesh Paul, has been postponed due to escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, organisers confirmed.
In an official statement,fh. groups cited the “recent developments between India and Pakistan” as the reason behind the decision. “After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to reschedule the tour,” the statement read.
The shows were originally slated for May 4 in Manchester, and May 5 in London. With the growing concerns raised by British Asian media and community representatives, organisers stated rescheduling was the “most respectful and responsible course of action.”
“Proceeding with the show as planned could open the door to unintended controversy and risk reputational damage to the artists, the show, and the wider industry,” the statement noted. Acknowledging the disappointment, fh.groups assured fans the tour would be staged at a later date once the environment is deemed “more suitable.” “We sincerely appreciate your understanding, professionalism, and support during this time,” they added.
A source close to the artistes told India Today, “Everyone was extremely excited for the UK shows, but given the situation, the team felt it was safer and more respectful to step back for now.”
Another insider revealed, “The artists have a huge fan base in the UK, and postponing wasn’t an easy call. But protecting the sentiment of the community and ensuring a positive environment was the top priority.” The source further added, “The artistes fully support the decision and are committed to returning with an even bigger celebration once the time is right.”
New dates for the Bollywood Big Shot UK Tour will be announced soon. Meanwhile, the organisers have decided to refund the money.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt, among other celebrities, condemned the Pahalgam terror attack and sent their prayers to the families who lost their loved ones.
