Afran Nisho-starrer “Daagi”, which was released on Eid-ul-Fitr, is running successfully in the cinemas. In the meantime, it is learned that the popular star is currently busy shooting for a web series.

The shooting of the series titled “Aka” directed by Vicky Zahed is almost completed. Initially, it was known that Afran Nisho will be paired with Tanjim Saiyara Totini. But for now, the news is that she will not be in the series. Masuma Rahman Nabila, of “Toofan” fame, is returning to the screen oposite Nisho in “Aka”.

She has already completed shooting. This has been confirmed by a source close to the production company of the film Alpha-i. Most of the shooting of the series has been done in the capital and some locations outside Dhaka.

The source said that the name of the series may be changed. For now, it has been initially named “Aka”. However, Totini will not be in it. Nabila will be seen opposite Nisho in the project.

Nabila was last seen on screen in the superhit “Toofan” opposite Shakib Khan.

It is learned that Hoichoi will make an official announcement about “Aka”, produced under the banner of SVF Bangladesh- Alpha-I soon. It will be released on the OTT platform Hoichoi.
