A brother went to steal money from his sister’s house with a friend to pay off the loan in Kapasia of Gazipur. But when she realized the matter and screamed in fear, the brother tied her hands and feet and strangled her to death. Gazipur Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) has arrested the brother along with his friend in this incident.

Gazipur Superintendent of Police Mohammad Maqsudur Rahman gave this information in a circular on Friday (April 5) afternoon.

Earlier, on April 2 at 8:30 in the morning, the body of Shahnaz Begum Shimu was recovered from her village residence. She is the wife of Mosharraf Hossain, the South Korean expatriate of Kapasia Upazila’s East Vittipara village

In this incident, the father of the deceased, Siraj Uddin Bepari filed a case against unknown persons at Kapasia police station. Shahnaz Begum Shimu’s younger brother Kamruzzaman Rubel and Minal alias Mister son of Askar Ali of Mamdabari village of Sherpur district’s Srivardi police station were arrested by PBI .

It is known that Rubel planned to steal from his sister’s house with his friend to pay off the loan. At that time, when the sister screamed, they tied her hands and feet and killed her by strangulation and looted the money and gold ornaments in the house. Later on Tuesday (April 2) around 8:30 in the morning, the body of expatriate’s wife Shahnaz Begum Shimu was recovered from her residence in Singhashree Union of Kapasia Upazila.
