The European Union has expressed its interest in further strengthening trade relations with Bangladesh.
The matter was discussed at a meeting between Commerce Minister Khandaker Abdul Muktadir and a delegation led by EU Ambassador to Bangladesh Michael Miller at the Secretariat on Wednesday.
During the meeting, the two sides held detailed discussions on different aspects of trade, investment and economic cooperation between Bangladesh and the EU.
