9 DIGs, 30 SPs transferred

The government has carried out a fresh reshuffle in the police, transferring nine deputy inspector generals (DIG) and 30 superintendents of police (SPs) in one of the latest large-scale changes.

The home ministry issued two separate notifications on Tuesday confirming the transfers.

As part of the order, Md Masud Alam, who was serving as deputy commissioner (DC) of the Ramna Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), has been appointed SP of Chattogram district.
