The decision to adjust the new price was taken at a meeting held with edible oil traders at the Ministry of Commerce on Wednesday (September 2). The meeting discussed the international market situation, import costs and the current price situation of edible oil in the domestic market. It was decided to increase the price of soybean oil.

According to the new decision, from now on, each liter of bottled soybean oil will be sold in the market at 204 taka. Earlier, the price of the same quantity of bottled soybean oil was Tk 199.
