The last day to sell advance train tickets for the Eid trip is Saturday. A huge demand for tickets has been seen on this day as well.

14,000 tickets have been sold for the Western Railway (Rajshahi, Rangpur, and Khulna divisions) by 10:30 am today. The number of tickets allocated for this region is 14 thousand 770.

The sale of tickets for the 9th of April for Western Railway started this morning. In the first half hour, 1 crore 23 lakh people tried (hit) to buy more than 14,500 tickets from the website.

The sale of tickets for the eastern railway (Dhaka, Chattogram, and Sylhet division) will start at 2 pm today. 16 thousand 696 tickets have been allotted for sale for this region.

Railways started selling advance train tickets on March 24. Tickets go on sale on the first day, April 3. After that, advance tickets for the days before Eid have been sold in stages.

However, railway officials said that the last three days including today are the most in demand for tickets.
