Dhallywood Queen Apu Biswas bagged popularity and fame after walking a long way in the movie world. Once her films were released throughout the year, however, nowadays, Apu’s movies are not released in theaters except at festivals.

Now, there is an exception. Apu Biswas is appearing on the big screen with not one but two movies in the upcoming month of February – ‘Trap’ will be released on February 9 and ‘ChayaBrikkho’ next week.

About this, Apu Biswas said, “Releasing two movies in two weeks is a big achievement for an artist. It’s nice to be able to come in front of the audience at the beginning of the year with two different stories. I hope everyone will like it. As always, this time also I hope that the audience will be with Bengali cinema.”

Joy Chowdhury will be seen with Apu Biswas in the movie ‘Trap’. Apu shared the screen with Joy before. “For the first time, I starred in a science fiction genre movie. The story also has a great message. At this time, many are facing losses due to hacking. This will come up in the story,” said the Dhallywood Queen

Actor Nirab Hossain, on the other hand, will be seen with Apu in the movie ‘ChayaBrikkho’. About the film, Apu said, “‘ChayaBrikkho’ is made on the life story of tea workers. It is a story-based movie. Viewers have seen me in glamorous looks for so long. Now they will see me in a different look.”

‘Trap’ is directed by Deen Islam. It also stars Misa Sawdagar, Aman Reza, Tahmina Mou, LR Khan Shimanto, Harun Kisinger, Hyder Ali, and others.

‘ChayaBrikkho’, directed by Bandhan Biswas, is a government grant film. Besides, Apu-Nirab, Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed, Sumit Sengupta, Mahmudul Islam, Barada Mithu, Shatabdi Wadud, Susmi Rahman, Iqbal Ahmed, and others starred in this.
