Agriculture Minister Abdus Shahid said that if complaints are received about the hoarders of daily necessities, they will be arrested if necessary. There is no exemption in this regard.

He said this while talking to reporters after the meeting with the Russian Ambassador to Dhaka, Alexander Mantitsky at the Agriculture Minister’s office at the Secretariat on Tuesday.

In response to a question from journalists, the agriculture minister said that the government has a strong role in the matter of stockpiling. In the meantime, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said, ‘Whoever does this, arrest them. Let us know, we have no concessions in this matter

Abdus Shahid said we will see that the price of the product is under control. Another thing is that when the price of rice increases, it puts pressure on the people. We are aware of this. In this regard, all necessary cooperation from our ministry will be given.

Agriculture Minister said, there is no opportunity to condone corruption. I am not in favor of corruption. I do politics, journalists all know me. I have no corruption.
