The fiction “Mon Duari” has been made on the occasion of upcoming Eid-ul-Azha. Ekushey Padak-winning veteran artiste Dilara Zaman has played the grandmother of popular small screen actor Ziaul Faruk Apurba in the drama.

Written and directed by Zakaria Shoukhin, the filming of the project has already been completed at different locations of Manikganj.

About the play Dilara Zaman said, “Now I’m 82 years old. The work that I’m doing even at this age is actually a lot. I’ve faced a lot of trouble working on the fiction ‘Mon Duari’. I will tell the producers that they should work with me keeping in mind my age. Because I can’t work at night like others, it’s a lot of trouble. This suffering is very difficult to bear or accept at this age.”

“To be honest, Apurba is now a mature actor. He has played my grandson in the drama perfectly.  The story of the fiction is that Apurba comes from abroad to take his heir ship. Later, he wants to go back abroad. But finally can’t. Thus the story of the play continues”, she added.

On the work front, Dilara Zaman has completed the work of an advertisement for Pran. On the other hand, Apurba was last seen in the drama “Pothe Holo Deri” directed by Zakaria Soukhin. Totini played opposite Apurba in the play.

Meanwhile, Apurba-starrer web series “Golam Mamun” directed by Shihab Shaheen will be released on OTT platform Hoichoi on 13 June. In the meantime, this web series has created a lot of interest among the audience. They are eagerly waiting for this web series starring Apurba.
