Good morning. I am very glad to welcome you to the inaugural issue of ‘The Daily Sky’, also an English daily newspaper that going to be published from a district town like Sirajganj for the first time breaking all the records of country’s history.

My gratitude goes to Allah almighty for making this feat achievable. I like to thank all of those, especially the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Sirajganj Mir Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman and Superintendent of Police (SP) Arifur Rahman Mandal, who have provided all kinds of supports to me from their own positions to make this impossible to possible.

I also wish to thank further to my father and mother, all of friends, journalists, well wishers and family members for their supportive encouragement.

I have to announce that, ‘The Daily Sky’ will always observe responsibility to strengthen public opinion on how the democratic system to be established and sustainable, and how the nurture of democratic norms to be effective.

‘The Daily Sky’ is committed to raise the voice of mass-people on behalf of truth, fair and transparency upholding its uniqueness with non-partisan position and free from influence of political parties or vested groups.

Despite many challenges, taking neutral position in the field of any conflict between good and evil, justice and injustice or right and wrong done by any group or alliance is our main goal. ‘The Daily Sky’ believes to serve the people, even they in power or not.

Being well aware of its social responsibilities and duties, ‘The Daily Sky’ wants to ensure human rights to all, remove gender discrimination, establishing rule of law, press freedom, transparency and accountability in the administration, trade and industry. Above all, it is determined to uphold the national interests.

In regarding of the professional duties, ‘The Daily Sky’ will always maintain utmost sincerity and accountability to serve the nation and it will play vital role to resolve the problems of the society and keep the people away from all sorts of harassments and sufferings.
