BNP Standing Committee member Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan has urged CNG-powered auto-rickshaw workers to drive their vehicles in an orderly manner.

Addressing the workers, he said: “You should drive according to traffic discipline and serve the people.”

He made these remarks on Saturday at a discussion meeting organized by the Bangladesh Nationalist CNG Auto-Rickshaw Workers’ Party at the National Press Club auditorium.

During the discussion meeting, the CNG Auto-Rickshaw Workers’ Party presented 12 demands. Supporting 10 of these demands, Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan said: “If we come to power through a fair election and if I am given any responsibility, I will prioritize fulfilling your just demands.”

He further said: “I was the IT Minister. I was the first to work for the expansion of IT in Bangladesh. I had Khaleda Zia inaugurate the country’s submarine cable.”

Also present at the discussion meeting were BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s Advisory Council member and valiant freedom fighter Advocate Mojibur Rahman Sarwar, Labour Party President Anwar Hossain, President of the Nationalist CNG Auto-Rickshaw Workers’ Party VP Ruhul Amin Munshi, along with many other leaders.
