The Prevailing mild to severe heat wave over the country may continue. Due to increasing moisture incursion, the discomfort may increase.

Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Barishal, Chattogram & Sylhet divisions with hails at isolated, a weather bulletin said.

Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.

Severe heat wave is sweeping over the districts of Rajshahi, Pabna, Bagerhat, Jashore, Chuadanga & Kushtia and mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping over Dhaka, Rangpur & Barishal divisions, rest part of Rajshahi & Khulna divisions and the district of Moulvibazar and it may continue.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Country’s maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded 40.6 degrees Celsius at Chuadanga. Today’s highest temperature in country is recorded 40.8 at Chuadanga and and the minimum temperature today was 20.5 degrees Celsius at Nikli.
