Tarash Correspondent: A teenage boy was killed in a road accident in Tarash upazila of Sirajganj district early of the morning.

The deceased was identified as Sayem Ali, 16, son of Nazrul Islam of Sathiya village in Pabna district.

Abdul Wadud, Officer in Charge of Hatikumrul Highway Police Station told The Daily Sky that, the accident took place at around 4.30am on the Dhaka-Natore highway near Janata restaurant in Khalkula Bazar area in the upazila, while a truck hit him from behind leaving him dead on the spot.

On information, police reached to the spot and recovered the body. A case was lodged with the relevant police station in this connection.
