Ranveer Singh’s Don 3 is not postponed. The film, which was slated to go on the floor in June 2025, will begin as per the schedule. This update comes amid various reports that suggested the film’s shooting is postponed due to commitment issues of the team.

A spokesperson from Excel Entertainment, the producers of the film clarified the same and said, “The makers and Ranveer Singh are on the same page that the timeline of Don 3 remains unchanged. Any such news of postponement is not true.”

The announcement of Ranveer being the third face of Don 3 was made in 2023 and the film has already been through multiple cycles of speculative delays.

The pre-production work has already kickstarted. Farhan, in earlier interviews, had confirmed that they wanted to announce the film beforehand as they didn’t want fans to be disappointed by unnecessary speculations.

Directed by Farhan Akhtar, ‘Don 3’ promises to deliver another adrenaline-fuelled installment. While the original film featured Amitabh Bachchan, the earlier two films in the Excel Productions franchise starred Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role.

Don 3 will star Kiara Advani as the female lead. Announcing her coming on board in February, Farhan Akhtar posted on social media, “Welcome to the Don universe Kiara Advani…#Don3.” To this, she replied, “Thrilled to be part of the iconic Don franchise and to be working with this incredible team! Seeking all your love and support as we set out on this exciting journey together.”

The release date of the film is yet to be announced.
