Actor Sanjay Dutt has joined the cast of Baaghi 4. Directed by A Harsha, the film promises raw action. Releasing September 5, 2025, it also stars Tiger Shroff.

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has joined the cast of Sajid Nadiadwala’s much-anticipated action thriller Baaghi 4, marking an electrifying addition to the popular franchise.

The first-look poster of Dutt’s character was unveiled on Monday, showcasing the actor in a fierce avatar. Seated on a throne with blood-soaked clothes and holding a lifeless woman in his arms, Dutt exudes pain and rage. The tagline, “Every Aashiq Is A Villain,” hints at the actor playing an antagonist in the film, presumably after losing a loved one. Dutt’s rugged persona and commanding screen presence bring a new level of intensity to the franchise.

Baaghi 4 is directed by A Harsha, a well-regarded filmmaker in Kannada cinema known for his expertise in blending mass appeal with high-energy action. The film is the fourth instalment in the Baaghi franchise, which has become a defining series for action star Tiger Shroff.

In November, the makers revealed a poster featuring Tiger in a grittier and darker avatar. It showed him sitting on a broken commode with a saw in one hand, an open bottle of alcohol in the other, and a cigarette in his mouth. Blood was splattered all over his body and the walls behind him, setting the tone for the intense action to come.

In addition to Baaghi 4, Nadiadwala and Dutt are also collaborating on Housefull 5, which is currently in production. The ensemble cast includes Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Fardeen Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea, Chitrangada Singh, and Ranjeet, among others.

Presented by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Baaghi 4 is set to release in cinemas on September 5, 2025.
