A worker died while cutting tree branches in Kaliganj of Satkhira district on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Abu Bakkar Siddique alias Buli, 35, son of Abdul Jabbar Moral of Mukund Madhusudanpur village under Bishnupur union of the Kaliganj upazila.

Local UP Chairman Abul Kashem Mohammad Abdullah said, the victim went to cut a tree branch at Abdur Rouf’s house in Manoharpur village in the same upazila. He died from the hit of a tree branch while cutting it after climbing on top.
