Dhallywood actress Shirin Shila is set to begin shooting for her first film of the new year tomorrow  (February 26). The film, titled ‘Neel Akashe Pakhi Ure’, a government-supported film, is directed by singer S D Rubel.

It has been reported that the director himself will also play a central role in the movie. The initial phase of shooting will take place at various locations in Khagrachari.

Regarding her involvement in the film, Shirin Shila said, “I really liked the story of this film, and I find my character very beautiful as well. I believe if the movie is made properly, the audience will enjoy it.”

The title song of Neel Akashe Pakhi Ure has been sung by Konal, while Zinia Zafrin Luipa has lent her voice to two other songs in the film.

Notably, Shirin Shila’s most recent released film was ‘Shesh Baji’, which premiered in 2024. Her debut film was ‘Hitman’, followed by several popular movies such as ‘Khoniker Bhalobasha’, ‘Miya Bibi Raji’, and ‘Mon Jane Na Moner Thikana’.
