The shooting of the Afran Nisho-starrer film “Daagi” directed by Shihab Shaheen has officially wrapped up after two months and five days of shooting.

Director Shihab Shaheen announced the compilation of the movie by sharing a 12-second video on social media. The video the shows the cast and crew enthusiastically raising their hands together, chanting “Wrap up!

“Daagi” is scheduled to be released on the occasion of upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.

“Daagi” will mark Nisho and Toma Mirza’s second big-screen project collaboration after Raihan Rafi’s hit “Surongo”. “Daagi” is also Shihab Shaheen’s second feature film after the 2015 released film “Chuye Dile Mon”.

Nisho’s debut film “Surongo” was released on Eid-ul-Azha in 2023. Besides “Surongo”, the actor was last seen in several OTT projects like “Punorjonmo Ontim Porbo”, “Neel Joler Kabya” and “Sharey Showlo”.

Produced jointly by SVF, Alpha i Entertainment, and Chorki, Daagi’s journey began in December last year.  Besides Nisho and Tama, actors Sunerah Binte Kamal and Rashed Mamun Apu have also played two important roles in the project.
