Popular actor Manna’s film “Dui Diner Duniya” has been running at the Ananda Cinema Hall in the capital. The movie has been re-released in theatre after 17 years hiatus.

Due to the political situation in the country, there are no viewers in the theatres either. Even if new movies are released, viewers are not coming to the theatres. That is why the authorities are more interested in old movies than new movies.

Ramzan, a person releated to the cinema hall, told the media that, “Many people still want to watch Manna’s movies. We are also forced to show old movies. The movie has been running since Friday. There are not many viewers. However, the first two days were good as an old movie.”

“Dui Diner Duniya” was released theatres across the country on 23 May 2008. Jona acted opposite Manna in the movie directed by Bazlur Rashed Chowdhury. The other cast of the film includes Shamim Shah, Shikha, Mizu Ahmed, Elius Kubra and others.
