Another year, another bold look from Bollywood actor Urvashi Rautela. She walked the red carpet at the 78th Cannes Film Festival in a colourful ensemble, a tiara and a crystal parrot-shaped clutch, sparking buzz online.

Actor Urvashi Rautela has fully immersed herself in the Cannes Film Festival. She made a striking appearance at Cannes 2025, turning heads on the red carpet in a vibrant, colourful ensemble. For the opening ceremony, Urvashi embraced a bold fashion statement, pairing her outfit with eye-catching accessories – a colourful tiara, a crystal-embellished parrot-shaped clutch, and matching jewellery.

Rautela, who also attended the screening of the film ‘Partir un jour’ (Leave One Day), struck a pose on the red carpet, confidently flaunting her look. Several photos and videos of her appearance quickly went viral overnight – though not without controversy, as many internet users heavily trolled her online.

Urvashi wore a striking gown in bold shades of blue, red, and yellow. Adding an extra splash of vibrance was a colourful tiara. However, the real show-stealer was her crystal-embellished parrot-shaped clutch, reportedly worth Rs 4,68,064, according to Instagram fashion watchdog Diet Sabya.

As soon as the images surfaced, the internet erupted with reactions. While some admired her bold fashion choices, others couldn’t resist sharing snarky commentary. One user quipped, “Giving ‘Moulin Rouge meets Mayur Vihar’ realness (sic),” while another asked, “Was Daku Maharaj shown at the festival (sic)?” A third added, “First lady to ignore dressing regulations of Cannes Film Festival Authority (sic).”

The Cannes Film Festival 2025 officially opened on May 13, with appearances from global stars including Leonardo DiCaprio, Quentin Tarantino, Laurent Lafitte, Mylne Farmer, Robert De Niro, and Jury President Juliette Binoche.

On the work front, Urvashi was last seen in the Telugu film Daaku Maharaj, alongside Nandamuri Balakrishna.
