The results of the 2026 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will be published on Monday, with students able to access their results through education board websites and SMS.
The results will be available on the respective education boards’ websites after publication. Students can also check their results through the two designated websites, eduboardresult.gov.bd and educationboardresults.gov.bd.
Professor Dr Syed Akhtaruzzaman, chairman of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and chairman of the Dhaka Education Board, confirmed the matter on Saturday.
How to Check Results via SMS
Students can also obtain their results by sending an SMS from any mobile operator.
For general education boards:
Type `SSC`, followed by a space, the first three letters of the respective board name, another space, the roll number and the examination year, and send it to 16140.
Example: `SSC DHA 123456 2026`
For Madrasa Education Board:
Type `SSC MAD`, followed by the roll number and examination year, and send it to 16140.
Example: `SSC MAD 123456 2026`
For Technical Education Board:
Type `SSC TEC`, followed by the roll number and examination year, and send it to 16140.
Example: `SSC TEC 123456 2026`
Students will receive their results in the return SMS.
The SSC and equivalent results are normally published within 60 days of the completion of the written examinations. The results were initially expected to be published on July 20, but the publication was delayed due to complications in completing the result preparation process.
A total of 1,857,344 students filled out forms to sit for this year’s SSC and equivalent examinations. Of them, 1,418,398 were under the nine general education boards, 304,286 under the Madrasa Education Board and 134,660 under the Technical Education Board.
