On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, Bangladesh Television (BTV) will air three star-studded singles and a four-episode drama series. The single-episode dramas are “Madhujatra”, “AbiramDevdas”, “Prayashchitta” and the drama series titled “Char Murti”.

“Madhujatra” written by Nuruddin Jahangir and produced by L Ruma Akhter will be aired after the Bangla news at 8:00 pm on the day of Eid. ManojPramanik, Naoba, Mohammad Bari, ZiaulHasanKislu, M A Salam, Upma, Urmi, Mizanur Rahman, and others acted in this play. The drama tells the story of the lovers Minu and Mohit. One day both of them left the city and started for Kamalapur train station. Minu runs to get on the train, butMohit cannot get on the train.

On the second day of Eid, the drama play “AbiramDevdas” will be broadcast. Written by BadrulAnamSoud, the drama stars SazuKhadem, Zakia Bari Mamo, Ahsan Habib Nasim, Hillol Sarkar, SaifulAlamShamim and others. In the drama story, Didar’s life changes after watching the movie “Devdas”. He started thinking of himself as the film’s character and even changed his name to Devdas in an affidavit. Then he dressed like Devdas and searched for his lover Paru in every house in the village.

The channel will air the drama “Prayashchitta” on the third day of Eid. The play has been scripted by SujatShimul and produced by MonirulHasan. Mamunur Rashid, WahidaMallik Jolly, Nadia Ahmed, SubhashisBhowmik, and SujatShimul have acted in the lead roles in the drama. In the play, Zafar Ali is an influential chairman of Rahmatpur village. He owns a lot of wealth by abusing power. He wants to buy the biggest cow in the village on a QurbaniEid. But one night, the chairman fell ill after a nightmare. He then decides to atone for himself by returning the stolen property and first of all sacrifices his inner beast.

The four-episode drama series “Char Murti” is written by Raisul Islam Anik and produced by Al Mamun. The drama stars Ahsan Habib Nasim, Intekhab Dinar, SazuKhadem, RawnakHasan and RukaiyaJahanChamak. The drama series revolves around three childhood friends Kabir, Milon and Joseph.

As a child, while playing to explode bombs, they lost their hearing. Kabir fell in love with a girl named Romana. Then these three friends go to Romana’s house in Sylhet for marriage proposal. Then the story of the drama continues.

“Char Murti” will be aired from before the Eid day to the third day of Eid every day at 5:30 pm.
