Entertainment Desk:

Advocate Fahim Hasnain, assistant public prosecutor (PP) of Sherpur District Judge Court has sent a legal notice to rapper Aly Hasan for contempt of court. He claimed that there was contempt of court in the song ‘Nana-Nati’ released on Eid-ul-Azha.

The song ‘Nana-Nati’ was written by rapper Aly Hasan and composed by Aly Hasan and Marzuk Russell. The song ‘Nana-Nati’ sung by Aly Hasan and Marzuk Russell was released on YouTube channel on June 16.

The notice seeks Aly Hasan’s public apology online live within the next 15 days, including dropping the contemptuous line “Bortomaner Court e Bichar Chole Note e” in the song. Otherwise, the notice warned to file a case against him in court.

Confirming the matter of sending the legal notice on Thursday (June 20) morning, Advocate Fahim Hasnain said, “At 1.18 min, it is said – ‘Bortomaner Court e Bichar Chole Note e’ – this amounts to contempt of court.”

“Due to this line, general people’s misconceptions about the country’s justice system and courts have arisen. As a result, there is a fear that people will lose faith in the law. So, Aly Hasan should apologize to the general public after receiving the notice and come online live by dropping that line of the song,” said lawyer Fahim Hasnain.

He warned that if Aly Hasan does not drop the line of the song within 15 days of sending the notice and does not come online live and apologize to the general public, then a case will be filed against him in the appropriate court as per law.
