The 12-day Cannes Film Festival has begun. The world’s most popular film festival opens on Tuesday with a French comedy, The Second Act, by prolific film director and musician Quentin Dupieux. Meanwhile, popular Dhallywood actress Ashna Habib Bhabna has reached there.

Bhabna reached the Cannes Film Festival at night on May 12, Bangladesh time. Upon arrival, she took Facebook and wrote, ‘From Old Dhaka to Festival de Cannes.’

The 77th edition of this prestigious festival will continue till May 25 in a joyful atmosphere for 12 days. Around this festival, the city of Cannes in France is filled with famous stars of the world including Hollywood and Bollywood. Popular Bangladeshi actress Ashna Habib Bhavna went to the Cannes Film Festival for the first time.

Bhabna had long wanted to participate in the Cannes Film Festival. Hearing the news of world stars going there, she dreamed of going to the Cannes Film Festival one day.
