Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader has said that those who have blood stains and conspiracy designs in their political culture are masked-peddlers of democracy.

He said this at a regular briefing at his official residence on Monday morning.

The BNP’s anti-politics is a big obstacle to institutionalize democracy in this country.

Regarding the demand for elections under a neutral government, the general secretary of the Awami League said the country is moving forward at an indomitable pace under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Quader remarked that the BNP had demanded the resignation of the government after failing in the movement for safe roads and anti-quota movement and for the latest anti-rape social movement.

He suggested BNP leaders to learn from the failures of all political movements.

There is no need to demand the resignation of the government, elections will be held in accordance with the constitution when the time comes, he added. (Source: Online)
