Cultural events staged by several local organizations are drawing attention to the visitors in the ongoing Baishakhi Fair at Bazar Station in Sirajganj town. On the 15th day of the fair, artists of Saptak Sangeet Academy performed on the stage in the fair along with rendering songs and playing drama. on Thursday evening, Music artist of Saptak Sangeet Academy Jabala Mustaq, Abdul Khalek, Shahed Hasan, Sumona Akhtar, Md Rashed, Bristi Khatun, Rudra, Mamun A Qayum, Deepa Ghosh, Zubayer Ziko and Sweety Akhter among others rendered songs with the direction of Tabla artist and President of the organization Md. Hasan. Besides, Deepa Ghosh performed dance in the function. At the end of the program, Arif Hossain, Director of Mukta Kantha, handed over the Folk Cultural Festival’s ‘Greeting Card’ to the organization. Dilip Gaur, President of Natyo Niketan conducted the Baisakhi Fair and Folk Cultural Festival.
