The interim government has published a gazette notification recognising 1,401 individuals injured in the July mass uprising as July Warriors.
The Ministry of Liberation War Affairs issued the gazette yesterday (27 February), categorising 493 critically injured individuals under ‘Category A’ and 908 seriously injured individuals under ‘Category B’.
The gazette, published this morning (28 February), includes the medical case IDs, parents’ names, and permanent addresses of the injured.
The liberation war affairs ministry will also publish a ‘Category C’ list based on the nature of injuries sustained by the individuals.
On 15 January, a list of 834 martyrs from the mass uprising was published through a gazette.
The government will provide financial assistance to the families of those killed and injured in the mass uprising based on these lists. The injured will receive monthly allowances according to the severity of their injuries.
