Indian singer Iman Chakraborty and Bangladeshi artiste Shwapnil Shojib have collaborated for Rabindranath Tagore master piece “Tumi Robe Nirobe”. With the masterful musical arrangement by Nilanjan Ghosh, the project promises to be a celestial celebration of Tagore’s enduring legacy.
The song “Tumi Robe Nirobe” will be released on 6 August to mark the Tagore’s death anniversary.
“Tagore’s lyrics are my lifeblood,” Said Iman Chakraborty. Iman Chakraborty, a synonymous with soulful Bengali music, shares her heartfelt connection to this project in this way, “Rabindranath Tagore is always close to my heart. His lyrics give me consistency, inspiration, and power. ‘Tumi Robe Nirobe’ is incredibly special because it marks my reunion with my dear friend and celebrated Bangladeshi singer Shwapnil Shojib. Our previous collaboration on ‘Tumi Kon Kanoner Phool’ was magical, and now, we’re back to enchant our listeners with this new tribute. I can’t wait to share this joy with fans across the globe.”
