Mithila’s third film ‘Aranyar Prachin Probad’ was released in Kolkata. After the release of the movie, critics praised Mithila’s performance.

The shooting set of the movie is Panaghat suburb. The police have been struggling for a year to solve the death of young doctor Amit Roy (Suhotra Mukherjee), but nothing has been done. Then CID officer Sudarshan (Shilajit) is called to investigate the case. The story continues with what happens after that.

The movie is the story of amateur detective Aranya Chatterjee. Jeetu Kamal has played the role of this new detective.

Appreciating Mithila’s performance in ‘Aranyar Prachin Probad’, the magazine wrote, ‘The actors in the film have tried to do a good job according to their characters. The performances of Mithila as Debjani and Shaon Ghosh as Aranya’s assistant are eye-catching.

A daily newspaper wrote about the Bangladeshi actress, ‘Mithila is a natural beauty, she didn’t need makeup. But she is fluent in acting.
